Gwen went on a school field trip to Biz Town. It's a place where each student has a job, pays off a business loan, pays taxes, and buys things. It was fun! Gwen's job was social media director for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Emily had her first dance recital of the season! She did so well! I'm always so impressed by her dancing abilities because she can learn choreography so well. We all went and watched her performance, and then got delicious gelato at the Italian grocer next door.
Wade turned 3! We love this cool guy! We had a birthday party for him at Organ Stop Pizza. Grammy Jan and Grandpa Chris came from Nevada, and my parents also joined!
Gwen participated in her final primary program! She and Emily performed so well and several of us had teared up from being moved by the spirit. It was a sweet end to Gwen's primary days. Gwen also went to her first mutual activity to introduce the newest girls prior to the new year. She loved it and has been sad about not being able to go back until January.
I got to join in on Cassidy's wedding dress shopping excursion. I only made it to the first store, but she was beautiful in everything and it was so fun to see!
Emily, Gwen, and I went to go see Wicked:For Good. It was excellent.
Gwen swam in her first club swim meet! She got first in several of her heats. Morgan was so sweet and showed up with hot cocoa and a breakfast sandwich for her! She is loving swim team, and it's fun to see her skills improve.
We hosted Thanksgiving here and I think it was spectacular. We had nearly 50 people and food to feed way more! Sarah and Caroline each brought loads and loads of food. Meredith brought a great drink bar, and we just had fun.
We all went and saw Zootopia 2. I took a nap during the show hahahah! Cold room, dimmed lights, and a tummy full of popcorn!?! What else does a girl need for a little nappie poo!?
We ended our month's adventures by going to see Santa at the Bass Pro Shop. Wade was so funny. He asked for a blue bike (hue hike) and Emily asked for a mini fridge. Gwen said she didn't need anything--she also approached me later and told me she had seen one of the Christmas gifts arrive and she was really excited but tried to forget about seeing it, unsuccessfully. haha!
