May went by much more quickly than April and we were thankful. It's likely because May had so many end of school activities AND beginning of summer activities.
Emily went on a school field trip to Candlelight Park.
Emily finished out her soccer season. They came in second place for the league. They played really hard and we were so proud of Emily, and she was proud of herself too.
Gwen and Emily had they annual piano achievement day. They went to Chandler Gilbert Community College and did sight reading, playing, and wrote/studied the composers of their songs. They also had the end of year piano recital with root beer floats. They are both so skilled and work so hard.
Wade started swim lessons with Amy Peterson. Both of the girls took lessons with Amy's daughters, and they are excellent swimmers. He is so good at swimming. The first week of the first session was filled with tears and every following week Wade improved!
For Mother's Day, Jake, Vonnie, Walt and I went to Colorado. It was a quick trip.
Towards the end of the month, our focus was graduations! Megan and Taylor both graduated, and it was a blessing they graduated on different days!
I continued frequenting the hot yoga studio, and am still perfectly obsessed.
On the last day of the month, Wade busted his eyebrow open on the glass table. He's hit it before, probably 30 times! But this time, he hit just right and got a 1 inch gash. Blood flow was heavy, but moods were okay after mom came to settle every one down. Emily felt like it was her fault, and it kind of was, but it wasn't.

| Sweet story, we went to Scheel's and ended up getting dinner nearby. We were just sitting and chatting and an employee came and brought two desserts that a man near us purchased for us. We all felt so good. |
