Pink eye descended upon the Denham family this month. Wade went to his first day of day care at an in home place a block away. He was nervous and cried, and the next day had pink eye. I tried to avoid it and did, but after it got Wade, Emily contracted it. In our family, if Emily gets something we all know it's going to get everyone else because she has no boundaries and will cough in your face and put her gunky eye right on you hahaha! I was working and it was a Friday--after lunch I realized an eye had been itching and then noticed how it was also "runny." I immediately was like, I HAVE TO GO or everyone will get this! So I went home an hour early and began a miserable week of conjunctivitis. Gwen got it last, and somehow Jake miraculously avoided it.
We had lots of visitors! Meredith and the kids came for a long weekend to help me while Jake went out of town. We have Vonnie and Walt over, and I'm sure more that I just can't remember.
During October Break we went to the Phoenix Zoo. The animals really showed off for us. We loved the tigers, and the lion cubs were the star of the zoo! The cubs were out for only the second day ever when we went, and they were so, SO cute!
I have no pictures of Halloween, but Wade wore a simple jersey, Gwen was a witch, and Emily was a cute pirate! The weather cooled off and it was chilly for trick or treating. It was amazing.
Gwen started a new basketball league and Emily has continued working hard in cheer. The girls also had a piano recital at the mall! They performed in costume.
