Alas. December was filled with the sickness of the Denhams. We all started healthy, and the flu got us one by one. Gwen was first, then Emily, and Wade last. Each one fevered for four days. They bathed and rested. Christmas came and went with no playing from being so tired. It really made them weak!
I had to get a root canal retreated. It was not a fun experience, but it was still a really great and seamless procedure. I've been painfree since and I'm thankful.
We visited Santa at Bass Pro! We saw the same Santa last year. Wade was not impressed and was in fact, very offended.
After everyone was sick, the girls enjoyed playing with friends every day.
Our Christmas was simple. We got the kids one gift each, and they also got one gift from Santa. I loved it but Emily said, "maybe next year we can get more toys?" hahahah!

| Our amazing neighbors had a cultural dance to celebrate family and the Virgin Mary. It was so beautiful and we loved every second. A woman spoke in Spanish essentially baring her testimony of her faith and her family, and though we couldn't understand every word, we felt it deep in our hearts. |

| I bought a felicity doll because mine from my childhood has been lost since I got married. The girls loved her and used their own money to purchase some other dolls used. I trekked around the west valley for hours and it was worth it. Gwen bought Samantha, and Emily bought Mary Ellen. |
