It's a miracle I have a minute to write an October update!

October was a blast like normal. The weather cooled off, so we increased our outside time! Pregnancy for me was smooth and so I was able to walk outside a lot more than in previous months, and we decided the best thing to do was use our POGO passes and hit up as many free events as possible before our baby was born.

We went to a dinosaur museum attached to the butterfly wonderland and aquarium. It was less of a museum and more of a technical dinosaur show, but we enjoyed it. It took us about an hour to get through the whole thing and that suited us just fine.

We went ice skating! That was pretty fun! Our pass included multiple admissions to the ice rink that Jake and I went to when we were still dating, and the girls LOVED it. I told them that they could do ice skating for their sport if they wanted, and I'm sticking to that! I think skating is amazing.

I went with some girlfriends to a show at ASU's Gammage theater and we saw Six. It's about King Henry's wives and how they died. It was fun and upbeat, and was more like a concert than a typical musical. The outfits were incredible, the dancing was insane, and I just loved it!

Emily did a cheer camp for one of our neighborhood high schools and she LOVED it. She wants to be a cheerleader, so when she brought home a flier about "Little Toros" I knew we were going to give it a go. She got dropped off right after school and stayed until half time of the football game! That's a long time for her to be away! She was a little exhausted when we finally reunited, and slept like a cheering champ that night. Gwen loved going to the game and meeting up with some friends. She was able to play with Jeremiah and go on the bounce house, run around the bleachers, and even got a free treat. She is such a good friend and is loved by everyone!

For Halloween, the girls dressed up as Belle (Emily) and Minnie Mouse (Gwen) for their school parades and for trick or treating. On the night of Halloween, we walked the hood for about an hour and fifteen minutes before they decided they wanted to go home. They took over passing out candy from Jake, and they loved that and fought over who got to go next--because taking turns wasn't working out for such a fun event haha!
