October was a big month for Gwen's hair! She decided to get a haircut, and was very specific in wanting a cut just like daddy's. ha! I told her we could cut a lot off, but not as short as Jake's nearly shaved head, and she was fine with the compromise! Gwen also had a really bad skin month. Her eczema really flared up, and she also ended up having an allergic reaction to an enormous amount of ant bites. Poor girl. We kept her loaded up on Benadryl (per our pediatrician) and she was a completely different person. Poor baby. She's much better now, but it was actually really stressful!
We spent a lot of time with the Ellsworths! Maria, Megan, Kate, and Jeremy all moved down, so we get to see them a lot now! It's so great! I always wanted my kids to grow up with cousins, so we are living the dream! We all went to Ikea, and it was great!
October was also a month for Target and Home Depot. We went often to peruse the scary aisles. I love scaring the kids, and Target was perfect for that! When Rooney was born, I took the Blackburn girls, and Holliday hated but loved every second of it.
Emily has a new hobby. She, apparently, has a new found love of cars! If she sees a car she likes, she asks me to take a picture! It's pretty hilarious, especially because she sees the same cars at the gym but wants a new picture every day!
I left my job with Aesthetic Family to focus on motherhood and it was the best decision ever!
The girls had several different costumes, and Emily has been wearing her Jack Jack costume nonstop.
